What Can You Do in Two Months?
Happy first day of November!
With Thanksgiving on the horizon and the December holidays rolling in shortly after, it's hard to wrap your head around anything else. However, I would love for you to take a few minutes today to think about one more thing. How do you want the last two months of the year to go for you?
There are officially 60 days left of 2022. To some that might sound like a lot, and to others it may not, but one thing is for sure; when it comes to your health, two months is a substantial amount of time to develop habits that support you.
So, what can you do in two months? Start small. Can you add in 10 minutes of daily movement? Increase your water intake? Add in veggies at one more meal? Go to sleep 15-30 minutes earlier? There are so many small steps you can start with that will snowball.
It might sound counterintuitive to start taking better care of your health during an already hectic season, but I think there's no better time. To develop habits and routines and to have a plan in place is just what you need to get through this kind of season and come out stronger on the otherside. The alternative? Continue to run yourself too thin and end up feeling drained and resentful. I know change is uncomfortable, but so is the latter. Which would you prefer, though? You've heard me say this before but it's just like "choosing your hard."
