Who Do You Want to Become?

How has the first full week of 2023 been treating you? Actually, a better question would be "how have you been treating the first full week of 2023?"

I think we often forget about the power we hold. Instead, we allow outside circumstances to dictate our actions, when in fact, we should be the ones calling our shots. Realisitically, I'm aware there are some situations in which we can't, but I would argue that you can still control your responses and your perception of things.


Last week I talked about choosing a "word of the year." Use that word to help guide you when making choices. It has been said that adults make on average 35,000 decisions on a daily basis. Obviously, these range in priority and gravity, but each one results in an action or consequence.

So, here's another choice: you can think of one day as "just another day," or you can think of one day as 35,000 opportunites.
